Founded by Dobromir Dobrev and Kamen Dobrev, EBTB grew from professional audio distributor to independent loudspeaker manufacturer.

Our journey began in 1991 with Shark Art Ltd., a company specializing in professional audio distribution and studio system integration. We worked with private radio stations, national broadcasters and international media such as Radio France International. This experience exposed us to the strengths — and the limitations — of traditional loudspeaker design.
Most enclosures followed the same pattern: rectangular boxes with parallel walls. These shapes created resonances, standing waves and coloration. Manufacturers tried to compensate with electronics, often introducing new problems instead of solving the original ones.
We chose a different path.
Guided by the principle that form follows function, we began developing our own loudspeakers using shapes defined by physics, not convention. Our first models appeared in 1997. In 2001 the iconic Terra was born, and in 2003 we launched a new brand dedicated entirely to this vision.

Curved surfaces and carefully developed internal geometry help eliminate unwanted resonances.

Our in-house casting process combines marble powder and specialized binders in CNC-prepared moulds.

Drivers, crossovers and enclosure design are developed as a complete system.

Each enclosure is painted, assembled and finished in our workshop near Varna, with great attention to detail. An endless range of colours  allows you to choose a finish which fits your space and style.
