EBTB's multiple choices on that score indicate they'd agree. What you won't need a sub for is to center the tonal balance. Luna Mk3 is a no compromise bookshelf speaker which will satisfy the most demanding audiophiles. We kept the same rigid die cast aluminium resonance free enclosure and the “liquid stone” baffle which is extremely robust and heavy. Everything in Luna Mk3 is dedicated to the sound too. We use 18 mm neodymium tweeter and 4.5” woofer delivering 150W RMS (!!!) Power.  The sound is bright, open and clear.
