Design
Form follows function
Our basic philosophy is: FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION. The goal we set and achieved was to present an uncompromisingly powerful, linear and clean sound, minimally dependent on room acoustics.
The shape of the enclosure plays a vital role in loudspeaker performance. The movement of the speaker membrane causes a very complex mixture of sound waves in terms of frequency, amplitude, phase etc. If the shape is rectangular with parallel walls, at certain frequencies two bad things may happen: first, the walls will start to vibrate due to interference and will act as additional speakers, but out of any control. So the general sound will be an unpredictable mixture of the sound coming from the speakers and from the enclosure’s walls. Second, standing waves will occur inside the cabinet, which will increase enormously certain frequencies and will decrease others. Fortunately, there is a shape which prevents both of these phenomena. That shape is oval.

Technology
IMT and Marble powder
The oval shape is perfect for the sound of the loudspeaker and we went further with our Individual Matrix Technology (IMT) and Liquid Marble core.
We developed this unique innovative technology in house and constantly improve it. As a result we have exactly what is necessary for the perfect sound and excellent outlook: solid and awesome looking enclosure and in the same time we are environmental friendly and energy effective.
We use advanced CNC equipment to prepare individual mold for each separate loudspeaker and then we cast a Marble powder inside the mold. It's unique!
The advantages of this technology apart from the sound are:
· Precise and solid enclosure:
After compression and some other processes we have extremely solid enclosure, excellent for perfect sound.
· Environment friendly:
We use natural materials as Marble and bioplastics, which not pollute the nature. In addition we literally do not have waste during the manufacturing. The waste is mainly cardboard boxes which are recycled.
· Low energy consumption:
We use machines and technologies which are very energy effective.

You can order Zep 12 S in any color you like in matt, high gloss or metallic finish. What does ANY COLOR YOU LIKE really mean?
You can use most popular coloring systems like RAL or NCS-S. You can use any car manufacturer color catalogue for metallic and pearl colors too. All you have to do is to send us the code. And of course you can contact us and explain how you imagine the color of your speaker and we shall help in your choice.
